| Writing manuals and instruction guides for appliances? I've never tried technical writing, though I think I'm able to do this coming from an educational background of reading lots of science manuals and doing experiments. I think it is something that maybe I may try out working on one of these days. |
| Plenty of good writers got the privilege to enter freelance jobs. Well I think this is really a big opportunity because they can work from home and earn a better income. | You can't fake technical writing, you either know the topic or don't. Trying to learn a technical topic while trying to write about it will either cause you to miss your deadline or write something that isn't your best. You'll lose a client most likely and the project would be a waste of time. Stick with what you know and if you want to learn something new, do it outside of a project. |
